Our Accreditations, Certifications & Memberships

GKB Scaffolding is proud to have the following memberships and accreditations which confirm and ensure the quality and professionalism of its products and services.

FORS Silver

We are proud to be awarded FORS Silver. Silver accreditation confirms that we employ good practice and comply with the requirements laid out by the FORS Standard. By achieving FORS Silver accreditation our fleet compliant with the CLOCS Standard for Construction Logistics and with TfL’s WRRR (Work Related Road Risk).

ISOQAR

ISOQAR is a UKAS-accredited certification body which audits organisations against a variety of management standards. It assesses a wide range of manufacturing and service organisations, across many parts of the world.

GKB Scaffolding holds a UKAS ISOQAR Certificate 16090, which meets the requirements of the following:

ISO 9001

This is the international standard that specifies the requirements for a quality management system (QMS). GKB Scaffolding uses this standard to demonstrate their ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and regulatory requirements.

ISO 14001

ISO 14001 sets out the requirements for an environmental management standard. It’s one of the world’s most widely used standards and a key business tool for GKB Scaffolding who are committed to reducing their impact on the environment.

ISO 45001

This is one of the International Standard for Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems. It provides GKB Scaffolding with a framework for the effective management of OH&S and includes all aspects of risk management and legal compliance.

GKB Scaffolding is regularly audited by ISO.

Safe Contractor

SafeContractor is an accreditation organisation which reviews and audits health and safety policies, procedures and documentation. SafeContractor accreditation confirms that GKB Scaffolding meets specific standards of health and safety.

CHAS

GKB Scaffolding is a Premium member of the pre-approval Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme – the foremost authority on UK compliance, risk mitigation and supply chain management. It allows GKB Scaffolding to demonstrate to potential clients that it meets a range of standards including Health&Safety, financial, environmental, quality management, equal opportunities and diversity.

Contructionline

GKB Scaffolding holds Gold Membership of Contructionline, an organisation which has been working with construction buyers and suppliers for over 20 years. Its aim is to open up opportunities for members to access a wide range of procurement contracts and projects – and for buyers to access a validated pool of high quality suppliers.

Scaffolding Association

GKB Scaffolding is a member of The Scaffolding Association – the largest trade organisation in the UK scaffolding and access sector. The Scaffolding Association campaigns to raise the standards of safety, quality and workforce skills throughout the industry.

CITB

All GKB Scaffolders are trained to CITB standards. The Construction Industry Training Board is dedicated to ensuring training standards and qualifications are right for the industry’s needs

CISRS

The Construction Industry Scaffolders Record Scheme (CISRS) is the preferred scaffolding qualification for major organisations such as CSCS, NASC, HSE, Build UK and UNITE. All GKB scaffolders are trained to meet CISRS standards.
